You know when you're a kid and the old woman at the corner
who's driveway you've just cleared of snow (because your dad
made you and you moaned like f#ck about doing it before
accepting it was an instruction and not a request) tries to give
you money as a thank you and you try to say no because you've
been brought up right and you know you should say no but then
you realise it's a fiver and not a quid and your arse twitches
because you have so much to spend that fiver on but you think
she might realise it's a fiver and call you a robbing b***ard because
you only cleared the f#cking driveway and she doesn't even have a
car for f#cks sake so you just smile and hope to f#ck she lets go
of the money and you can get out of there sharpish.....?
That's what this deal reminds me of.
And breathe....
