I'm pretty sure nobody gives a F**k what he thinks right now, to be perfectly honest. I'm more concerned with our performance today than I am about what he thinks.

F**k me 3-0 loss.

To summarise, started first half ok. Good spells of possession, couldn't create or finish clear cut chances. Some muppet scores wonder goal. Second half, heads drop after Agger is caught out, pulls back Long, red carded. Long misses penalty, but moments later Skrtel unfairly called for foul instead box, penalty number 2, this time Odenwingie scores it. 2-0. Heads drop, sh*t play for rest of the game, Cole comes on looks on before hamstring goes, subbed out for Carroll who did ok in last 10 minutes though by the Lukaku had already made it 3.

Everything that could go wrong did, only players who were 'ok' were Reina, Carroll and maybe Allen. Suarez created but missed two clear cut chance and a bunch more half chances, needs to be more clinical. Liverpool front 3 seriously need to become more dangerous and more prolific. Same old sh*t unfortunately Good night all x

It was a disaster start, but we have to give time to BR. This 4 3 3 need time to work. It's gonna be hard, but it's not fair to blame BR right now. We a bunch of difficult games ahead and we'll see how the team will react from now on...

It will get better but it maybe a long season and CL football might be stretch.

Probably not, but we shouldn't of just capitulated like we did.

The game was over when were down ten men mate and a dubious penalty was awarded and converted.

Agree, especially after doing well against Bayer, Borini could be struggling slightly with the pace of the game, can imagine it was a lot faster than Gomel!! Only bonus is this Oussama lad to still come in. It's as clear as daylight we need someone who can just score goals.

What annoys me is that against the top teams coming up, I bet we do really well! Then when we come against a 'mid table' team, this sh*t will happen again.

I think it's a bit unfair to expect Borini, at 21, to be the finisher we need.  We need someone else - we've lost some of our match winners, Kuyt and Maxi.

I was surprised by our lack of zip and the way we caved in.  It will be interesting to hear BR's take on it.

I'm being positive and predicting Mr. Borini will get us 10+ this season.    But we need another scorer on the other wing.

I'd say clumsy, lackluster, at times complacent, weak spirited, inaccurate...!

One penalty was debatable, but despite some other possibly harsh yellow cards, the rest of the performance was our own fault.

There is work to do, a lot of work, but I won't put such a disappointing result down to luck.

We need to pull ourselves together as a team, and get behind the manager and his philosophy as fans.

Referee was worst ever. Gerrard and Downey had a crap game and should not have started IMO. I would have rather seen Shelvey in the middle in order to match physical game of WBA. Still 100% behind Rodgers and the lads. Very disappointed but we will bounce back. YNWA

Don't think we could have started the season much worse!

I think we looked alright in the first half, their goal was a bit against the run of play, but the second half we just seemed to fall apart. Need to sort ourselves out quick though, considering the other games we have start the season with.
