The best newspaper for a Liverpool fan

As the title suggests, what are your recommendations for a newspaper for a Liverpool fan? Fed up of all the anti Liverpool stories being published.

All i want is an unbiased newspaper to read at work and unfortunately being an OOT i can't get the echo

If it helps i'm a Labour supporter

I just don't bother anymore and haven't done for a while now.

Plenty of other places to get the news these days.

Edit: Sorry mate as I realise my post doesn't help you in any way but just how I feel about newspapers over the last few years.

You won't find an unbiased paper.  I don't pick one up often at all nowadays, if I do it's usually the i.  A kind of readers digest version of The Independent.

I get The Guardian and The Times on the way to work, when you're having a slow day at work, it can occupy the time and I find them both a good read.

They are probably the best newspapers for LFC exclusives, in my opinion, and are probably the most reliable of all the available newspapers out there, Liverpool Echo excluded. Doesn't say much though, when every newspapers is as dodgy as sh*t.

They can still be biased, unfortunately.

Cheers for the replies. Think ill pick up the Times and Guardian tomorrow and see which i prefer.

On the very rare occasions I do bother picking up a paper nowadays it tends to be The Times. Some decent writers in there that are reds.. Not biased our way but better than them being Manc lovers..

Unless you're out of toilet paper I wouldn't recommend any.

Go cold turkey, save the money up to buy a tablet and get all your news from sites that you know and respect.

I wouldn't wipe my arse with a newspaper any more. My arse is better than that.

Can't you get the Echo online?The Guardian is the only daily worth bothering with.

This was my last buyable paper but don't really bother with that any more. Gone sh*t.

And I think you'll find broadsheets a little bit more trustworthy than tabloids!! The Guardian's excellent piece about News International and all the fallout that has followed is a what journalism should really be about.

The broadsheets still report sh*te, they just use longer words and add more content rather than pictures, still doesn't mean they don't lie too.  Granted they are a lot better than red tops mind and there is the odd in depth article that is worth a read.

The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph are two excellent newspapers especially the latter's sport section

Just one note of The Guardian - don't read a word of Polly Toynbee. She is the left's Peter Hitchins but just a whole lot thicker.
