Sterling has played twice in 3 days and now he seems to have earned his first team slot he can be rested for Arsenal.
Coates not sure why he isnt playing I firmly believe if he get a run of games he will be hard to drop the lad is going to be a superstar.

I wonder if this means Coates is going to start against Arsenal? I wouldn't think we would want to start Skrtel three times in one week.

Agreed about Coates.
I think at some point in the near future, we will have a CB pairing of Coates and Agger, with Skrtel as back up. That's how highly I rate the lad, and he's a good player to bring it out from the back as well.

Agree on both counts there. The thought of Sterling taking on Jenkinson is mouth-watering

And Coates will be very good. Still a bit raw and rash at times, but he's going to grow into some defender. Really missed an opportunity to play him more last season once the leauge campaign was shot.

At his age im sure he is fit and wanting to play, but i agree he could be tired

That's just a rumored selection, i for one would like Borini to start, hopefully he can snatch a goal or two to give him more confidence going into the Arsenal game.
