Figueroa just scored his 6th goal of the tournament and 2nd of the night for the U.S. against hosts Guatemala. Unfortunately he was injured in the process of scoring the goal.

Max Woltman joins Oxford

Max Woltman has joined Oxford United on a permanent transfer.

The 19-year-old forward, who progressed through the Academy ranks after joining Liverpool at the age of seven, finalised his move to the League One club on Thursday.

Wirral-born Woltman leaves the Reds having made two senior appearances for the club.

He debuted as a substitute in a Champions League win against AC Milan at San Siro in December 2021 and then started an Emirates FA Cup third-round victory over Shrewsbury Town at Anfield the following month.

Woltman made 14 appearances for Doncaster Rovers while spending the first half of 2022-23 on loan with the League Two outfit, and his career will now continue with Oxford, who finished 19th in League One last season.
