I though Sahin did allright, tough game to come into but kept it simple and made some good runs in the first half in their box.

Sterling was great as was Allen and Shelvey in his cameo.

Rest were shocking. Especially Gerrard and Suarez.

Add one more to the list of players I would excuse for today's performance: Jonjo Shelvey.

That makes 3 players... Allen, Shelvey and Sterling.

      The rest should be embarrassed.

And so should the Anfield crowd.

      ^^^^This, my view 100%

who said we changed the style of play, did not see it,  sorry to say it but it is  just same old disaster

I have neither the energy nor the desire to discuss the effort of this team today.

More shots on goal, more corners. Sounds like we might have been the dominant side. We are very poor as a team, not really working off the ball to support each other enough which leads to a slow build up and losing possession too often around opponents box. Always fragile to the counter with to many players letting their heads go down after losing possession and limited chasing back. Arsenal looked to comfortable for long periods and we were always second best. Shelvey made a difference but too little too late ......once again.

That was just terrible We didnt even create a chance worth talking about. Where do we go to from here. Up front we are so short its scary. We dont do goals what so ever. Forget about king kenny and the players he brought in have a lot to answer for!

I think the system is still reliant on having the players to implement it, we just didn't get the players we need so it's another season of cup runs IMO

Just hope Swansea don't outplay us te same way and beat us with our own system

Negatives: Suarez should learn that he need to score ugly goals too!!!
Borini should not play at the side.
Gerrard needs to learn pass like Allen. He is losing his vision and shooting boot. Shelvey is play hard to be in the team.
Reina needs a long talk and a rest. Jones needs to push hard for a place.

Neutrals: the back four were not bad but nothing special.

Positive: Allen is brilliant, simple as that.
Sterling was our only attacking person.

Pepe sure picked a great time to start shipping goals in. Any time you have a team who having trouble making goals and a keeper who giving at least 1 a game won't add up to many points on the standings.

Suarez is selfish and too wasteful. Plays with his head down, and always chooses to go down when the better option is to stay on his feet.

Not sure what Sahin offers to be honest, but it was his first game. Shelves however offered  a lot more after he came on.

Never mind no proven goalscorer, our trouble is our goalkeeper, who seems to have not recovered from last season. Perhaps it's time to drop him.

Everyone gets a 4 apart from

      Reina 3
      Shelvey 6
      Allen 9
      Sterling 8
      Gerard 3

      Let's move on.

Forget looking at stats or figures. All you need to know is, we are completely toothless going forward, and if Suarez isn't on form, we aren't going to score.

We were completely outplayed in the middle of the park, and Gerrard was particularly bad. He is the captain for christ sake. He's supposed to lead by example, and yet he was the sloppiest passer in the whole team. Joe Allen was the only positive in the midfield, and Sahin was average.

Our fans were absolutely embarrasing. Just embarrasing. Arsenal fans completely made fools of us

Gerrard and Reina both have to ask serious questions of themselves. Both have been poor this season, and cost us points. Gerrard has cost us in the WBA game and then this one. Reina did it against Hearts and then today. I'd seriously consider dropping both of them, especially Gerrard who just hasn't been good enough. It highlights that when Suarez isn't on form (which he isn't) then we're going to suffer. Our fans were an absolute embarassment. One set of fans was heard loud and clear, and it wasn't ours. We were at Anfield, under a new manager, with new players, and they need our backing. If you aren't prepared to do that, give your season ticket up.

According to Associated Press, he's been released from Shangai.
