US beats Honduras this evening and we should be all but booked for Brazil....a big change from early qualifying when the team was struggling.

Perfect 9 points in June qualifying. US needs about 4 more points (unofficially) to all but seal a place in Brazil.

How dare you?!! Without that happening we wouldn't have been able to see the dazzling and truly sublime talents of Paul Konchesky in a Red shirt!

Suarez causing trouble in Uruguay's qualifier against Peru.   ;D

Did a little dive and won a penalty, which he then took himself and scored.

A few minutes later, a Peruvian defender lightly tapped him and he went rolling on the ground, then Peru's LB angrily tried to pull him up and got himself sent off.

Never a dull day with our Luis.   :lmao:

All I know about the England game is that Steven Gerrard scored the opener.

That's how much I give a sh*t about the Owl and his FA dinosaurs.

Americans reverted back to losing ways, don't understand why we can't seem to play well in Central America.

But, good to see that Mexico lost again and fired their coach. Would delight me to no end to see them miss qualifying. :)

That was not a dive. Luis was clearly tripped by the defender after a wonderful turn.

He may have been tripped but he acted like he was shot in the back with a harpoon.

I missed the first half but wow, I'm glad I watched the second.  Just waiting on the result of other games now.  Would be nice to have the berth clinched and not have to worry about the last two qualifiers.

Honduras is up 2-1 on Panama...as long as they don't give up 2, we're in.

Both the US and Costa Rica have qualified for the World Cup, congratulations. Now let's hope we can beat Mexico in the final game, that would be the icing on the cake for us.

      WoooHooo !!!

Mexico are in real trouble of not even qualifying.  Tied for 4th with Panama (4th plays New Zealand in playoff)

Mexico host Panama next and go to Costa Rica for the final game. Not gonna be easy even to get to the playoff. Hard to imagine a World Cup without Mexico. Especially with CONCACAF not exactly being the strongest region. What happened to them?

Yeah, you guys can maybe finish em off.  Costa Rica always a tough place for visiting teams. Y'all kicked our ass last week. Good Luck.

That would be funny :D Overall I have absolutely nothing against Mexicans and I loved to visit the country earlier this year, BUT... they're so boring when it comes to football :D Awfully deluded. Their funny fans would be missed in Brazil though!

The one funny thing about them is Guardado was like, "We don't understand why everybody is so negative." And it's like, go back and watch how sh*t the entire team has been throughout qualification ;D

So Mexico have their third coach in a week, at this point they may need to look past the coach to the players.

Joel Campbell Most Disgusting Dive Ever!

Wow , just awful.  This Campbell fella needs to be suspended and the referee banned from ever doing an international match.  The US player Besler had to miss the game vs Mexico due to this. Just "so happened" to be a Mexican referee also. What a joke.  Nice try... 2-0

How solid do Belgium look, they're one of the best teams going into the World Cup I reckon.

                                   Mignolet

      Alderweireld   Kompany   Vertonghen   Vermaelen

                              Witsel      Defour

        De Bruyne                                          Hazard

                            Benteke      Lukaku

Courtois, Van Buyten, Chadli, Fellaini, Dembele, Mertens, Mirallas, Vossen. Quality team

It makes no sense at all to let players like Barkley and Sterling move up to the senior team to not get a run out. atleast for the U21 you can keep tabs on them and when you feel "i'm gonna start him" then move him up like he did with Townsend. he played him and he's been the best england player for the last 2 games, wasting Sterlings and Barkleys time by letting them train with the seniors is pointless as there both premier league players and dont need that little motivation. When there ready to start then move them up or at least if you think i'm gonna give him a run out.

So in a strange turn of events for bitter rivals, the US gets two goals in stoppage time to beat Panama, knocking them out of 4th and allowing Mexico, who lost to Costa Rica to grab the play-in spot.

Courtois; Alderweireld, Kompany, Vertonghen, Lombaerts; Fellaini, Witsel; De Bruyne, Hazard, Mirallas; Lukaku
