I knew the Germans were good, but...

They are top class mate but to be honest the performance of the Irish side was laughable 2% possesion at home. Disgraceful. No ideas, cant keep the ball everything you wouldn't expect from a national side (ranked 26th I think)

Unlucky ATK, 15 is asking a bit much even when they all seem strong favourites.

I know when you're betting to small stakes trying to win a lot it's hard to resist sticking in the odd extra one to bump it up. I used to be successful with rolling trebles on with footy a bit. Seems when you cut it down to just 3 and be very selective it's easier to roll up and pick 15 (5 consecutive bets) It's when you've got a large stake having the balls or whatever you want to call it to lash it on the next treble.

Anything a bookie actively encourages you to bet on you know is massively in their favour and they promote accumulators like nothing else with footy.

Gareth Bale! What a man, personally don't have much faith in Chris Coleman but I'm delighted we got a win tonight.

Jesus, Ireland were terrible, had to turn them off, but I did get to watch Shelvey.

Terrible dive, yes the lad clips him at the back but honestly it's not a foul and bale could of easily carried on there. Nothing at all will be made of it though of course

Well he did play eleven germans on his own.
Traps Ireland like watching Roys Liverpool.
Only with the good players left out.
      Shocking display.

Two banks of 5 at home.
      Picked apart at will.

      German rule in Ireland.

His own two legs got tangled up. His right foot catches his left calf, causing his right leg to understandably stumble. But you then see his left foot go suspiciously lame -- he could have keep moving by leveraging his left, but instead his tucks it under and goes limp and falls.

I didn't see it, but Uruguay lost to Argentina 3-0.  :-\  Only two shots on goal for Uruguay, both by Suarez. Coates didn't play.

Two goals by Messi, one by Aguero.

The US of A was short of a few top players, but beat mighty Antigua & Barbuda  ;) 2-1 in stoppage time. Whew.

      Amazing!

Pedro Rodriguez scored a hat trick and assisted Alba whom I think was offside.

Pedro scored three Messi-like goals. A right foot chip, a left foot chip and another similar like Messi's goal vs Arsenal where he flicked the ball over the keeper and shot. Someone's been learning from the great one!!

Apparently Maloney has said there was contact and that Bale didn't dive.  I'm going to assume that he's number six in that picture, I haven't got a clue about Scottish football so correct me if I'm wrong.   Don't think the defender would have came out defending him if it wasn't so.

Lads I recommend ye stick a few quid on the Faroe islands for the draw (maybe even a win)

My bet of the day a few quid on ROI England and Scotland all drawing

Portugal losing one nil at home to Northern Ireland.  Carroll's pulled off a few good saves and they're living on a knife edge at times.
