I feel strangely more angry now than before..and I am not sure I have a right to be so.
We don't need a new inquest we need prosecutions...
Could the "Sun" be taken to Court for Slander.
This must be like reliving the day allover again and the pain will be traumatic once again for those poor families how much more pain will they now have to go through hearing the details of their loved ones death's.

Speechless... just sitting hear watching with tears in my eyes...

Tears are streaming down my cheeks as I am watching this.
My admiration for the families and survivors is incalculable. They deserve all our heartfelt thanks and I'd like to start a round of applause for the families , all those who stood behind them and in particular Andy Burnham.

23  F***ing years, 23 years to get to a point where we have the truth that Liverpool fans were not drunken animals but ordinary people men, women and children going to a football match.

I think if the Families are satified with today's outcome then we should be to.
If I have one thing nagging at me is that I want to see Mackenzie and the Sun finished forever. An apology form the Sun means nothing now.

I just posted in the Sun thread about the possibility of the HJC suing the paper and Mackenzie for slander - surely its possible?

Also it will be interesting how much coverage they have on it tomorrow.

The TRUTH. Finally. 23 years too late, but we finally have it.

Even though we knew it all along, it's absolutely devastating to hear the extent of the cover up by the police and others. It's completely shocking yet not a surprise because we knew it. Completely chilling revelations.

And yet, the campaign is not over yet. We have the truth, but now we need a full and complete inquest, and one that's legitimate and sincere this time. From there we can seek justice and make those responsible accountable for their actions -- their sickening actions -- and maybe then there will be some closure for the families.

Hard to put into words what I want to say so I'll just convey my happiness for the fallen and those who have suffered.

In these last 23 years who has been there for the Families protecting their interests,The GoV,The police,the General Public or press the answer is a very very sad NO!!!!.
The have been left alone with the exception of the people of Liverpool and Liverpool supporters world wide.
The Truth is the Police ,the Gov,the press all acted against the innocent the 96 people who could not defend themselves.It makes me incredibly sad that we could as a society treat people this way and despite the clearly obvious cover up nobody form the authorities had the guts to stand up and say this is wrong and criminal.
If this was the other way around and the public had been found responsible arrests would be made TODAY.

I know what you mean mate with every key stroke I feel like I am getting more and more angry and want to scream out.
I have spent 23 years trying ot educate people I met who didnt understand the truth and correct peoples perceptions.
Now its out there Liverpool supporters were not Animals they were very much innocent men and women and Children..children who had their blood taken to see if they were drunk.
What sort of sick f**ker tries to blame the tragedy on kids being drunk its too sick to even contemplate.
Now the families have to relive the final moments of thier loved ones and thinkl what might have been..

Very emotional day and cannot begin to express my feelings to the families and friends of the 96, just join them in the relief that the truth is finally out there and the 96 can begin to rest truly in peace.
