Yeah sold Draxler to Madrid in his final year because he wanted $150k and I rarely used him. Got $40m and they gave him $250k.

Rodriguez is my highest earner at 85k. Fit right into my wage balance. We're tight at Soceidad but it's been a very fun save.

Same. Very hesitant to offer more than 125k to anyone even though the club is rich.

Champions League winners 5 times in a row, league winners 4 times in a row.

If a new interesting job comes up, i'll probably move on.

This game is sh*t. The shooting is F***ing balls.

I out-shoot the opponent at least 3:1 each game and scrape a draw or a 1-0 or some sh*t. 60%+ possession. They get one chance, goal.

      39 shots to 1.

      65% possession.

      2-0. Make sense of that.

      Right?

My midfield can pass the ball hundreds of times each game when my tactics are set to attack and nothing ever happens, just speculative 25 yard attempts when every player has been trained to not shoot from distance and my shout is to work the ball into the box. Ridiculous how uncreative my teams are with the ball. And you're also right about the opposition, absolute garbage teams get one attack that is a cross to a lone striker that always seems to score.

I hate long distance shooting in this game, my players just make ridiculous and totally unreasonable attempts - much worse than in previous versions. Too many decent plays are wasted. Because of this I set all my players to "rarely" shoot from distance.

I'm back into this, chose Villa.

They are well over the wage budget so I immediately sold Bent, N'Zogbia, Agbonlahor and Ireland. Currently only signed Pearce and Vukcevic on frees and Iličić for 4.5m. Still got around 20m and a fair bit in wages to spend but I'm waiting to see where I'm particularly weak first.

Won the derby on opening day 3-0 so a solid stat.

Team hitting form now. Won the CWC 7-0 vs Santos, beat Spurs 3-0, Southampton by 6 and  battered Stoke.

After reaching the semi finals of the World Cup with a sh*te Italy squad, took the England job after they won the same competition under Brendan Rodgers. Also took the job because a fair amount of my Liverpool squad are English. Won my first game away in Germany 2-0 to begin the Euro qualifiers. Flying with Liverpool too, won the Community Shield against City on pens, beat Galatasaray in the Super Cup 3-0, and won my first three league games, Soton (a), Stoke (h) & Villa (a) finishing 4-6, 2-0 and 0-2 respectively.

      I have 9 matches in a month.

Two against Burnley, the League Cup final vs Chelsea, both legs of the CL vs Roma, twice against arsenal, twice against the Mancs and one against City all in the league.

      That's fu**ed.

Recently moved to a 442 formation, seems to be working well. Had gotten Plymouth all the way to PL and Champions League but then i started to stagnate. Was playing 4-1-2-2-1 but was struggling for goals. 4-4-2 has seen me to the top of the table.

It killed a bit of spare time on the cruise. Back in LA now, might try some more FM2013 to help deal with this heat.

Shooting on this game is completely bullshit.

Dont think i've ever had a shot ratio of less than 3:1 this season. And yet most games i struggle to win, meanwhile they shoot 3 times a match and get 2 goals.

Had 35 shots to 10 vs Madrid and lost 3-1 over 2 legs. 75% possession and 20 shots vs WBA and won 1-0. etc. etc. etc.

If you are playing as Liverpool then it is very realistic, how many time are you hitting the woodwork? ;)

What would everyone like to see improved in FM14 then? Aside from shooting which we all seem to be frustrated with.

I'd love the Club World Championship to be a little bit more challenging. It's effectively a guaranteed trophy once you qualify assuming you're the European Club. Even the SA club don't offer any sort of challenge.

The movement of the players. It's all "floaty". Same with the ball through the air.

Ridiculous player valuations, unless you unsettle them so they hand in a transfer request the amount clubs demand is just crazy.
