What's your personal greatest 11

I get a bit bored on International breaks as you can probably tell 

I'm just walking my young un when I got to thinking about weather Pepe can get back to his best and then onto who is the best keeper I've seen during my personal days of supporting the club..

Now we have a great mix of ages on here so this should vary a bit so I was wondering what's peoples best 11 (plus 7 subs) that they have watched...

Justify if you feel you need or just put the players down..

With the keepers though Don I have never seen Clem "play" so even though looking at past videos etc would put him no.1 I couldnt personally as he had left by the time I started watching week in week out.

For me Pepe at his best was a better all round keeper than Grob... But it's such a tough one...
I personally still believe Pep can get back to his best... Should he not and leave next summer then those two could switch.

But in my time those two are head and shoulders above the rest who have worn the gloves.

Left Back is the one that was killing me - I put Stevie Nicol in but I really feel he's best at right back. Any supporters with recommendations pre 80's would be appreciated

One of my favourite left halves was Willie Stevenson,he replaced Tommy Leishman in the team and what a difference he made,he signed for us in October 1962 and I reckon that signing enabled us to win the league in 1964.With his passing ability he would have fitted in with Brendan Rodgers style of play withy no problem.As a club we were so blessed with class midfielders in the 1960s,70s, and 80s it makes it difficult to pick the best,

Thanks Billy - I'm 42 and it's so tough over the whole team. Just remembered I've left out Ray Kennedy who was a smashing footballer too.

I started supporting lfc in 2003 so I'll do a team from the players I've actually seen.
