Phil Scraton, member of the Hillsborough independent review panel and author of the highly acclaimed Hillsborough: The Truth,explores the review panel’s findings and their implications for truth, justice and accountability in this first public lecture since the publication of the panel’s report.

Phil Scraton is Professor of Criminology at Queen’s University’s School of Law.

Just got tickets for this and still some left if any of you Irish reds are interested.

£5 for what should be a very interesting lecture.

I'm off to this tomorrow evening, barring any last minute hiccups.

Should be interesting to hear Phil talk on the this.

Just got home from this tonight.

Phil gave a great lecture on the findings of the Hillsborough Independent Panel and although it is now in public knowledge through the publication of the report it was still very interesting to hear it from one of the people involved.

It was emotional and he was clearly moved when he finished and received a standing ovation which he said he would pass on to the families when he is back in Liverpool as he knew the ovation was for what the work done in the report meant to them.

Shout out to this absolute legend, Phil Scraton. What a fantastic human being.

Read his book....Hillsborough the truth...got on kindle to keep, and yes what he revealed truly is unbelievable, the length’s the establishment went to to cover everything up was simply astounding, and if you think this particular Government is any different, their not, they’re exactly the same with a different hat on, but Phil Scraton is a legend a hero to some and absolutely wonderful human being.
