Get in there lads and big credit goes to Brendan Rodgers there too. Takes real guts to throw kids in the deep end, say necessity or what we played outstanding for 85mins of that match. So proud, so excited for the future and 10 of those players who started, Suso and Jerome for just being the youngest ever player can be very proud of their performance was top drawer when you take into account the average age was about 22 or something close. Only 1 clear negative but not letting him put a Downing on it, brilliant!

I wasn't very keen on a "weakened" side but in the end we got the best out of it, very exciting to see those young lads doing so well. Couldn't watch the game as I was at work but thank you Sahin for a great birthday present I want the League Cup again!

Agree completely , it's a long time since I've enjoyed a game quite so much.
They may be youngsters ,  but by God they know how to play!
