Just watched the last ten - fifteen minutes of Udinese's game with Genoa, they look very slow and lacked any real incision.

It finished 0 - 0 and could have just been an "off-day" but if our lads get the ball moving at the pace we can, a good result should follow.

However, as Italians, there's no doubt that they will be typically stubborn in defense, so a patient attitude may be required,

It will be a good test for the younger lads, as I'm sure Rogers will mix the team up again.

just read up on this game and Di Natale didn't play, I thought logically he was being rested for the game against us but

Spot on PG, European nights are particulary special , Udinese will be harder than Bern to crack , i think we'll see more senior players on for this one.

As long as we don't include our dynamite winger or our midfield maestro of pocket size then i will be happy...both Sterling and Allen need a break IMO.

On team selection: it's a bit of a toughy this for me. If we accept the school of thought that Cup competitions are the best place to 'blood' younger players then obviously the longer we are in them, the more experience they can garner. Although circumstances have dictated many are getting league starts.

Perhaps we'll see more 'senior' players in the mix this time 'round: just to keep the momentum going and help their assimilation further?

Either way; I reckon we have the beating of this lot (even if I did hit 'Draw' by accident). 

I would like to see a couple more senior players play but I can see BR keeping faith with a lot of the squad players and giving them another run out in the competition
