      Exactly.

Bad luck has nothing to do with it so we need to stop bitching and start scoring

Our midfield three were well below part today and that can't be blamed on Stoke, although I'd like to try.

Allen giving the ball away more than usual, Sahin was pretty anonymous and Gerrard seems to have  went back to the form he had at the start of the season.

Just not good enough at all.  Begovic had a very easy team.

A piss poor team like stoke doesn't care if you dominate possession, creating and scoring goals wins you games, no having the ball.

Rodgers spent over ten mill on Borini, gave Carroll away and fifteen million on Allen, who doesn't score or create chances.  Our problem last season was scoring, and due to Rodgers actions, it'll be the same this year.

FFS im sure we've scored 16 in 8 games ,and our problem is scoring get a grip, we played well today and were unlucky, and as for stoke they shouldn't even be playing in the premiership, im sure they should be playing in the rugby union, the dirty bas**rds  , anyway we got a point they all add up at the end off season ,and I believe in BR and have a good feeling about what he will achieve BUT things need time ,it will come good sooner rather than later im sure off it  .IBRWT YNWA JFT96

Give your head a wobble. Just complain for the sake of it. You will never get rid of that black cloud that follows you round. Sorry but you need to see the bigger picture.

To be honest the only threat Stoke had was from our own poor passing from the back, which wasn't often but was far too often if you know what I mean. Must admit that today is the first time that I've begin to wonder how we either drop Gerrard or demand more from him because he's such a figure that either would be a difficult task without upsetting the dressing room a bit. Was a worse than a passenger, he simply gave the ball away endlessly.

Bang on mate, our midfield was pretty poor today, stoke came for a point irrespective of  there none football approach and that is exactly what they got.
What concerns me is our  inability to break teams down who employ these tactics,I was very surprised borini didn't come on instead of cole.

Gerrard and Sahin should have started in each other positions

More a problem of how each individual player played rather than their position as both have excelled in the positions they played in during the last couple of games.

Same thing year in year out, I mean doesn't BR study the previous games against Stoke? Everyone knew that Stoke will have 2-lines of 4 backs and what was our game plan? Either we bulldoze pass those 2-defence lines or we try to take shot from favorable positions. There's no way for those 1 two combos between Stevie and Suarez that will break down an 8 men defence.

I'm sure teams are going to come to Anfield and play the way Stoke did and try to steal a point and BR better have a quick plan how to break these teams down.

      Frustrating. Frustrating.

I hate to say this but we really need to break up this Stevie-Suarez combo and try to bring on more players into the attack, it becomes all too predictable to teams and they just have to mark one of the other and our offensive system breaks down.

What we saw in the last 15 mins, we pinned them back deep inside their own goal and Skrtel nearly scored and that should have been the way to do it.

Lastly, those 2-footed challenge, studs showing and high tackles by Stoke what has the FA got to say about that. Are those punishments only meant for us?

Sahin is more of a deep lying midfielder while to be honest dont like seeing Gerrard in there.

How the mighty have fallen. A goalless draw at home to stoke now deemed good enough cause we dominated possession.

That may well be corb but they have both played very well in those positions they were in today and I think it's more a case of them playing well below standard rather than the boss playing them out of position.

Huge surprise, even shock when cole came on. To be fair, he didn't do to bad, but didn't set the world on fire either. Just not what we needed at that stage of the game,

With Jonjo back one of these two could and should miss out the next one as I'd have him as the furthest of the three and one of Sahin/Gerrard beside Allen or even bring Hendo in as well and drop both if them.
