Just not good enough at all.  Begovic had a very easy team.

A piss poor team like stoke doesn't care if you dominate possession, creating and scoring goals wins you games, no having the ball.

Rodgers spent over ten mill on Borini, gave Carroll away and fifteen million on Allen, who doesn't score or create chances.  Our problem last season was scoring, and due to Rodgers actions, it'll be the same this year.

Disappointed but not overly surprised as Stoke are a horrible team to play and their brand of 'football' was enough to get them a point.

Final third let us down again and we seem very hurried in and around the box which is maybe down to feeling the pressure of trying to get the goal.

I hate being right. Sums up where we are right now. Above mid table.  Missing a killer in the team. Well played Suso, my MOTM for us.

I am desperately trying to stay positive but it's becoming very difficult. Pretty , pretty football is all well and good , but you get no points for it.
We have got to start scoring , or we are going to be in trouble. No team is afraid of coming to Anfield anymore.

You need quality to win games, at the moment we just don't have enough, even if we did hit the post 3 times. Suarez seems to be our only real goal threat and he can't do it all on his own.

Well done to the mighty stoke, take pride in all the fouls you committed today.  A victory for anti-football, timewasting, assault and all the rest of it.

Again some nice passing, a clean sheet (how rare is that), but just not clicking up top at the moment.  I am not sure why BR has so much faith in Joe Cole.

Just not strong enough up front. as for Stoke, how the F**k do they have any supporters at all playing like that. Got a point and pleased ? I'd be ashamed of myself, my team mates, my manager and my club if we played like that ! They play more entertaining footy in the 2nd Div. What the F**k are they doing in the prem ? Lads battled to the end but overall, not the best display from the middle of the park, and too few clear cut opportunities created up front. Perhaps a few wrong decisions with the final ball but not too much to moan about under the circumstances. If we could have got the first, they would have had to open up a bit more and i'm sure then we would have had a hat full. Ifs and buts. Tony pulis not only looks a tw*t, as a coach he has to be the football equivalent of the anti christ don't he ?

      Yea bigger picture.

There was one thing that needed addressed in the summer most, and Rodgers weakened us in that area.  Keep happy clapping all you like.

6 points from 7 games is not good enough.  He'll be lucky to last the season.  And I can tell you rot now a lot of season ticket holders feel the same way.

His talk got him the job and its all he's done good since.  Swansea actually got a better manager in.

Woy has and always will have achieved more in the game then this chancer.

Arsenal have won as many games as Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League in 2012.

      BBC
      1659:

Possible reasons why Liverpool keep hitting the woodwork:

      1. Because hitting the post looks quite cool.

      2. Some sort of magnet system sneakily installed by Everton fans.

      3. The goal frame has let itself go and got a bit fat.

      4. Their shooting isn't quite accurate enough.

Don't let stoke's bullying tactics detract from our own poor display because that is the real worry. That was a very poor passing display by us and the worst culprit was Gerrard.

Reina - 7 Not bad but a few dodgy distributions that put us under pressure
Johnson - 6 An ok performance, probably had our best chance
Agger - 7 Good solid display and stood up to the bully boys
Skrtel 7 Likewise and very unlucky not to score
Wisdom - 7 Surprisingly not involved all that much, but when called upon, was very solid

Allen - 6 Last few games his passing has been a bit off, needs to contribute a bit more going forward
Gerrard - 5 Sorry, very poor passing performace today, not one he'll want to remember
Sahin - 6 Quiet game, nothing 'bad/wrong', just not influential enough

Sterling - 6 For me he's been ineffective for major parts of the last 3 games, perhaps he's starting to feel fatigued, lightweight
Suarez - 7 Very busy, but today we saw the best and worst of him - continues to frustrate me for the most part
Suso - 6 Clever in glimpses, but not on the ball enough for me, lightweight

      Cole - 5 Oh well
Assaidi - 5 Not enough time to do anything

So all in all, individually we were not that bad, but collectively, as a passing unit, we were very poor. Yes we hit the woodwork 3 times but you know what? The posts never ever move, so I'm done with calling it unlucky, it isn't. Do we say how lucky we are when we score? No

Having said all that - hate stoke big time
