Well, good first half, poor second. Happy for Raheem of course. We are still very wasteful and Suarez in particular snatched at many good chances.

BUT - 3 points, a clean sheet, and a win at Anfield. Roll on Thursday.

      A win is a win

Owned the ball and did create some decent chances, taking them is the problem. Also look shakey at the back

Nice to get a victory, we really need to address the striker issue in January though don't we ?

I don't see any one in our team who's going to contribute 20+ a season.

Result & the three points are the main thing but that's just papering over the cracks for me.

Dreadful second half performance.  Squandering any chances we do create, whilst giving a very poor team plenty of their own.  Scratching my head how one of the best defences in the league has gone down the toilet this year.

Thank god form book goes out the window in the derby, or the blueshite would be big favourites.

What a poor second half, hope BR drills them, we were so wasteful and basically forgot the style of football where meant to play for the last 20 minutes.

3 points are all that matter though. Glad Sterling got his goal. Jones my MOTM, looked solid and Pepe should be worried with his recent form.

Not our best game, if we'd scored a second I think it would have flattered us to be honest.

However, it seems we've started the trend of winning when we're playing badly once again. Something we haven't seen for a few years.

Not to mention that Suarez wasted about 6 clear-cut chances (including that skied half-volley). We really should have made that 3 or 4-0. While playing badly.

Not one of our better performances, second half at least, but a home win, 3 points, Sterling scoring and a clean sheet - got to be apply with that.

Good 1st Anfield win of the season! Well done Raheem, that goal will live with you for your life. Enjoy :)

If we taken more of the chances, the scoreline would have been less flattering to Reading

I didn't think Gerrard was all that bad, but I did think Allen was pretty quiet and Sahin not at his best.

MOTM - Glen? Thought he was pretty good all game. Playmaker at LB haha

Yes they were. Allen's poorest game in a Liverpool shirt.

      But we won!  ;)

Three points and a clean sheet; that'll do. We'd have bother scoring paint at the minute - not much else to say really.  :-\

I dont think it was that bad a performance. We absolutely dominated possession (85-90%), and created sh*t load of chances.
But once again, it was the last touch of the attack that let us down. Out finishing is abysmal.

Anyway 3 points was the most important thing today, getting out first win at Anfeild this season,

I thought it was one of Gerrards better games this season. Which tells you all you need to know about his form atm
