                       Sir Paul McCartney Joins Hillsborough Song

Sir Paul McCartney has joined the line up for a song supporting the Hillsborough campaign.

The track, which is favourite to be Christmas number one, has had it's first play in Liverpool in front of the families of the victims of the 1989 disaster.

Robbie Williams, former Spice Girl Mel C and Gerry Marsden are among the other stars on the cover of The Hollies 1969 hit He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother.

Bookmakers expect the recording to beat the X-Factor winner to the top

Gary Barlow and someone else was knocked back from being involved with this single because they had links with the Scum.

Why was McCartney and Mel C not knocked back?

Hopefully this won't cause friction and disharmony in the cause of the boycott, but it seems like someone has messed up somewhere.

They did a much better job on this than I thought they would in all honesty. Song flows very nicely and it's for a great cause!

We really need to push this , it's apparently touch and go with X Factor guy. Come on , we are all surely sick of X Factor getting Xmas no 1.
I've just bought 4 Cd's to give as presents and am planning on buying a few more .
We've got 'til Sunday to do this , It is  such a good cause , if we could all spare a couple of £'s I am sure we can do this.
