Liverpool 1-3 Swansea: In game and Post Match Anger

Rodgers needs a Trophy this season.

Welp, Swansea deserved that. Thoroughly outclassed us in all areas of the pitch. Shame we can't have a repeat of the League Cup but I don't think it was a priority this season.

Coates, Carra and Allen were good.

Downing  is useless, useless and useless. I've always supported everyplayer of this club(Insua, Babel, Jovanovic, Pacheco, Cole, Voroni, Dossena, Keane, Carroll) but I've never disliked a player wearing our shirt like Downing. 20m for a player like that, whoever signed him should be hanged.

I cannot guess what positive BR will take positive from this game, seriously, this match confirms that we're a middle class team now, the club is mythic but not this team.

Agree mate and a game we never looked like winning as soon as the first whistle went.

Didn't get control in midfield and has been the case many times over now we're toothless in attack at times.

Best team won. Suarez got his goal but while we huffed and puffed Swansea always looked likely to get a breakaway.

Michu ran the show up front for Swansea. Thought Allen had his worst game for us whilst Downing was Downing. Once Swansea went ahead they could sit back and defend then pick us off. Yet again we had no solution to breaking down a team at home.

Were the players booed at the end of the game?

Downing and Henderson were absolutely shocking

You what? They werent great but they were far from the worst on the pitch today in fact I'd say they played better than most of the rest of our team.

Shocking to see Allen perform like that, wasn't to his usual self, still ran around a lot but wasn't his usual quality. Maybe because its his first against Swansea.

What Rodgers need this year is for our owners to back him in January, the kids, Suso, Sterling etc need to be blooded into the first XI, not burned out by the time they hit 19.

In fairness he did say in his interview that our squad were competing in three competitions. it didn't dawn on me until now he meant europa fa cup and EPL

Hendo did his best, cannot blame him. But Downing!!! Shocking how he came close to our club. these kind of players should have never got into our mythic club not even 1Km close.
