Conor Coady will make his Liverpool debut in Moscow tonight when the Reds take on Anzhi Makhachkala at the Lokomotiv Stadium.

Meanwhile, full-back Jon Flanagan returns to the starting line-up having recovered from injury and 18-year-old Adam Morgan leads the line for Brendan Rodgers' side.

Yeah a previous England under 18 captain, the lad who played well last game of next Gen scoring our only goal who was head and shoulders over the rest is crap, what must Brendan be thinking!!!

Have a good feeling about tonight - feel quite positive that we can get a result.

Team looks a bit of a mess to me - is it 4 at the back with Flanagan at left back? Or is it 5 at the back with Flanagan and Downing as wing backs? If it's the latter then the midfield and attack seem a bit slow to counter attack....

Not confident at all for this one.

Pretty sure it'll be a 3-5-2 with Downing as left wing back.

That has to be one of the worst teams we have ever put out in European competition.

4-5-1 by the looks of it....

I like this midfield personally, although I fear with the worst with Cole and Downing. But they are the most experienced players, so maybe, they'll be eager to take responsibilities.

I cant remember ever being too depressed  by one of these so called make shift sides.Virtually every player has something to prove tonight so I am going for a 3-1 win.

Speaks volumes about the strength of our squad when a 17 year old hasn't had to travel.

I'll be honest - I don't understand how Rodgers is treating this competition.  One minute he sends out a very strong side at home, a couple of days before a Merseyside derby, and then the next minute in the same competition he sends out the kids. 

Fair enough - the travelling is a ballache - but if he isn't taking it seriously - then why didn't he give our best players a rest before the derby?

Maybe someone at the club has had a word about the importance of Premier League points?

Coady will be fine. I'm more interested in whether Cole and Downing are up for this.

Some good attacking options on the bench, really hope to see Pacheco get some game time.
