Songs You Like By Bands You Don't

Was listening to this yesterday and got me thinking of songs that I really like by bands/artists I otherwise am not interested in our actually dislike.

My Chemical Romance - "Welcome to the Black Parade"

Really like this but can't stand anything else they've done.

I'm sure there are plenty of others.

Anyone else?

Not sure it falls into an artist I don't like as she only has the one album but I have to admit being taken by it..

So more a genre I dont normally listen to...

Liverpool's own Rebecca Ferguson.. (X Factor I believe)...

The mrs brought her album and I can't help but like it, the girl has a tremendous voice.. Catchy little songs too but like I said not normally my type of music..

I can't stand them and F***ing hate Robbie Williams (who fortunately doesn't feature here) but this is a brilliantly written song. Such a shame that it got over-played on slow motion X Factor clips!

Must say I am a fan of muse, there technical ability is amazing, some songs could do with a bit more heart, but on a hole I like what they do

Controversial here: I don't like Led Zeppelin. Sue me. But I love "Black Dog." Such a filthy song

Some of their stuff sounds great until that bloke starts "singing". Leave him on guitar and let sometime else handle the vocals and you could have a decent band.

Can't think of anything else of theirs I like.

Take That and Patience I can get Rep but Atomic Kitten and One Direction is a step too far

I think this is a great song but anything else I've heard from them is nowhere near as good.

Iam amazed that Iam the first saying this, but after a ton of exposure from tv/radio and not forgeting my kids, I have to say that this gets me in places no non-guitar/metal/rock song should!

Both from Significant Other.

Common theme: My desire to punch Fred Durst in the face. If you keep listening to them though, and get past Fred Durst being a c**t, you get to what I love about the songs. Wes Borland is a Monster. All three of those songs have riffs any band would be proud of. Modern day Guns and Roses, a c**t of a lead singer carried by a masterful guitar player.
