I've been saying, our problem isn't so much scoring goals, it's keeping clean sheets.

Brilliant result for us, not a bad performance to be fair.

Suso should be on the first team sheet in front of Sahin for me.

EDIT: Unbeaten in 6 Prem games now. Roll on January!

Unlucky lads, so much better with the change in formation and change of personnel which I think made the bigger difference. Suso's movement created so much space for us up front despite when he got on the ball not having the best game.

Point earned not 2 lost that's for sure after being a goal behind and playing dreadfully.

Was angry for so long of that match with how we were playing and fair play to Brendan the change made the difference that's for sure and in the end we could easily have won it with either Enrique or Suarez 1 on 1.

Well done boys. sh*t performance, great result considering. Enrique was immense defensively. Our midfield were steam rollered. Joe Allen was brutalised. Why Brendan kept him on i'll never know. Sahin was shocking. Brad Jones needs to drastically improve his distribution, it's costing us attacking options on the counter.

6 Games unbeaten... Lots of pros! Some work needed but not a million miles off where we need to be imo! On a plus all our Europa competitors where shambolic this weekend so IMO its a point gained!

      We're on our way!

Well I predicted a 1-0 to us but all said and done, settle for the point. At least we got something from the game, which didn't seem like happening up to half time. Need motd now. Followed the whole game on here with no radio or streem, F***ing nervous wreck now, need to go and have a lie down.

Much better in the second half and deserved a point. I would gladly have settled for this at half time.

Enrique my MOTM. Best game I've seen him have for a long time and a complete reversal of his performance last week in the Newcastle match.

1 point away against chelsea. il take that. good second half perfomance from us, Enrique was the boss and suso did well again. he was spreading the ball and making those run which open up space for other players.

One thing i have been wondering for a while now is that why dont BR throw in Assaidi in PL. I personally think he has impressed every time he is on the pitch. Could it be something else? like the attitude, match fitness or something else? or is it simply that im one the very few who rates Assaidi? any speculations?
i have asked the same questions but nobody have tried to have a go at it =/

      No blame game today.

      Proud of the lads.

Very good effort, particularly the second half.

Thought Glen Johnson had a great game, as well as Suarez, of course.

When you consider we finished the game with last season's Next-Gen players Wisdom, Suso and Sterling, coupled with an aging Carragher facing a highly paced attack and our reserve keeper, versus one of the most expensive teams in the world, it was a point very well earned!

Just shows that on the day the gulf is not that big between us and the top sides, just a serious depth of quality issue that severely needs addressing.

But well in lads, great effort.

I thought Sterling gave him a run for his money. Carried the ball really well on lots of occasions, chose the right passes, hit a sweet volley was unlucky and added to that tracked back really well with Bertrand and nicked the ball off their midfielders on many occasion. Was almost quietly having a good game, Enrique definitely played well too though but just think how well Sterling played is easily gone unnoticed.

Maybe it's a lesson to wait until the final whistle before declaring the game lost and looking at who to blame.

Well played lads in second half, good point.

Well done BR, started 2nd half way we played 1st half. But he saw we needed to change things introduction of Suso (albeit some shaking early touches) was the key, started winning the battle in midfield.

We started turning Chelseas defence and it proved the key in winning the corner we scored from, made up with result and in all honesty we could have nicked it. Gutted Suarez didn't get better touch on ball when he went through one on one with Cech.

Man of Match Enrique totally agree played really well. Allen needs a wake up call getting caught a lot on the ball last few matches.

Jones seriously needs to improve his distribution. Whenever we get the chance to break, he just stand there with the ball in his hands waiting for all the Chelsea players to retreat back into their positions

Thats a good draw that considering how we were in the first half.

4-3-3 from now on please. Not going to single Carra out as thats easy. Seemed him, Agger and Wisdom didn't really have a clue what was going on as Chelsea went at them through Sahin and Allen like they weren't there.

Know we all want Stevie at the front of the midfield three but not only is he our best attacking midfielder but he is our best defensive midfielder when Lucas is not playing and will probably stay there until he returns or Sahin wakes up and realises that nonchelonce with the ball in this league gets you nowhere.

Enrique and Johnson's performances the plusses today.

Rodgers' tactics and formation was not good today so the argument that that may of cost us a win is there as we were easily as good as them once we got back to what we know. Playing the three CBs gave Chelsea too much respect and put us staright on the backfoot.

World class attitude from Carragher in the interview with Sly Sports there.

Props to Sterling, Gerrard who really battled well for the team. Enrique was great, sometimes his final pass was lacking but again thats down to lack of support more than anything.

Jones had a fantastic save to deny Torres :)

Because we were rotten in the first half and much better in the second maybe?

Chuffed with a point after how we played in the first half, thought we could have nicked it in the end, we were bossing them more than they were us.

Well done Brendan, called the changes early enough and made a huge difference.
