So that's how you play left wing?

Lacked urgency in the first half, made up for it in the second half, Enrique was great as was Suarez, onward and upward.

I thought we actually got off to a good start and looked lively for the first ten minutes. It was after that when we went a bit flat and let Wigan in to the game.

Obviously, we bossed the second half.

Fantastic stuff on the second half. Well played by everyone, but I'm specially pleased with Henderson. He's walking like a man that deserves to be on that pitch now, and playing in the same manner. Good stuff. =]

Guessing it was you who voted him as MotM then, funny thing about football it brings such differing views. I agree he had a good game but the impact Luis and Jose made, I thought it would be a straight fight and even then thought Luis had no chance today, fair enough.

Enrique MOm for me, a goal and an assist with a peach of a pass from left midfield. Stewart Downing, that's how you do it.

      Tritto!

Thought Jose was excellent today, he fought for every ball near enough and got back and covered for Glen at times.  Apart from his assist, he also got his first goal for us, the first of many I hope!

Luis was a close second and Raheem, Stevie, Hendo and Suso all contributed, as did Andre, Skrtel, Agger and Pepe.  Joe Allen had a better game second half too.

      Chuffed to bits tonight!

He'd a good game alright 'mick; was he better than Suarez? Not in my opinion. Luis (the dog's bollocks) Suarez got my vote.

Jose MoM for me. Gave it to Luis last game so will be gracious enough to give Jose this time around.

BR keeps impressing me with his reading of the game. Was expecting the Suso change at half time but the fact that he had the courage to change it before half time was a master stroke. We were struggling in the midfield before the change though i was expecting Jonjo instead of Hendo.

Great 2nd half perofrmance all round 3points down 27 straight to go.

Just had a quick look at the table and 5 points behind the blues**t in fifth doesn't look too much to claw back especially with our run of games to Christmas.

At the risk of sounding like a bitter, if only that lineo hadn't fu**ed up in the derby, we'd be on the same points, above spuds, below the bitters on GD.

Hey ho though, that's gone like but things are looking better!  Buzzing after a home win today, just buzzing!

I am still specially pleased for Henderson as I gave him a lot of stick (not necessarily on this forum) and he showed me something different today. A lot more fight, more grit, more agression. A lot of improvement when you consider how he used to walk around with his head down and shoulders dropped like he wasn't meant to be here. I kept thinking 'man the hell up'. And he looked like a man, today.

But I voted for Luis =]. I felt the game ended 3 - 0 because of him and the way he's been winning us points. Thought Enrique played his best game, but it's hard to take it away from Suarez. Cheers.

Very fair assessment that Luciano, definitely see what you're pointing towards. Must admit even from the early games Henderson has been involved in this season I've noticed an extra bite to his tackle and less willing to duck out of a challenge (said as much in his thread). I'd totally lost patience with him, today, maybe the good feeling brought on by the win, I'm just inclined to invite him into the office and give him another chance haha I wish, but you get where I'm coming from.

Haven't watched the game yet so can't comment fully.

Heard the first half was a bit of a slog - players not getting forward.  Fair play to Rodgers for making a tactical change first half - takes a fair bit of self-confidence that I think.  And once again Suarez came firing out the blocks second half.

Important result.  Let's hope we build on this now.

Excellent point that mate. I was a bit taken back by that decision as Suso was looking dangerous. But he had the balls to change things and it paid off.

That second half performance was really mouth watering. If we can keep that display of heart and passion, we will go on a nice little run of games, I have no doubt.

Winning three nil at home on a Saturday afternoon is something I've missed massively! Well in red men!!
