My dad is out visiting me in Oz at the moment so couldn't go to the game (season ticket holder for 50 odd years) - I told him today that maybe he needs to stop going if we get results like that, but he was not impressed.

       :lmao:

In this match I don't see too much of this regimented tiki-taka stuff, not that I'm complaining. When the ball ended up at Enrique, Sterling or Suarez, situation became random. Opposition hates to come up against this type of team, they can;t predict what the players gonna do next. Long may this continue, let the lads express themselves, don't curb their desire while maintaining the shape of the team.

The pace of the game is far more important than tiki taki tactics imho.We were much much quicker second half and it was very pleasing on the eye too.
A home win 3 goals none conceded just like the old days.Well done lads.

      Still buzzing the day after.

We played so well in that second half, thanks partly to BR's tactical change. Keep it up, lads!

Were gonna win the League, Were gonna win the League and now your gonna believe us, and now your gonna believe us, and now your gonna believe us, were gonna win the League !!!!!!!  ;)

Awesome second half, was a privilege to be at Anfield, Suarez was on fire, Enrique was a beast, Sterling was his usual menacing self even Hendo was passing forwards rather than backwards or sideways  ;)

Seriously, we haven't enjoyed many wins at Anfield this season, so it was very pleasant to be so in control in that second half and actually enjoy the game and relax rather than sitting biting nails and feeling tense.

Lets hope this spurts us on and we go on a nice little run....come on boys we can do this !!!

The difference between the 1st and 2nd half yesterday was incredible. Was VERY impressed with how we played after the break and it pretty much epitomised how Rodgers wants them to play. We pressed it high up the pitch, the tempo and conviction of our passing was excellent and the movement of of our forward players was superb.

That was a great result and I was pleased with Enrique and Johnson with the work they got through on that left side. Now that we know how to put the ball in the net lets hope it gives the lads the impetus to kick on and get us up that league ladder.

The key to the left side of midfield is that both players can bomb forward and attack and both players can defend. So we are kinda not too limited on who goes forward, they just interchange natuarally which is very good for us especially against teams that come to sit back and defend. We might need to be very careful when playing against stronger teams.

The right side is also okay as Raheem keeps the opposition busy, Wisdom just needs to improve on his positioning and he could become a club legend at the pace he is presently exerting himself.

The middle of the pack will improve immediately we get Lucas back to his best and the attack will take care of itself as long as the other departments are okay, barring any injuries to our key player Luis.

Watched the game in Envi, really cracking set up in there with the Everton game on the other screen as well.  Great results all round. ;)

Second half was fantastic, thought Suarez, Enrique and Sterling were all brilliant.  Enrique's been my MOTM 2 weeks in a row now, keep it up lad!  Hope this is the start of a decent run of wins.

Only read this page atm.Have to agree to most obove. So glad Henderson got good reviews as he really gave his all when he was introduced (was Suso injured or was it tactical?)I've yet to watch the tv version of the game and was worried that the Hendo performance may not have been appreciated.
Luis,Sterling,Enrique??Hard to choose mom, however Luis got my vote.Little mention for Carra.Lovely touch singing  the team of Carragher song.Loved every minute of it ,and long may this feeling continue/last.IBRWT.

Theres a blast from the past Cas  ;)

Good 2nd half and great result in the end. Enrique was MOM for me and the last couple of games he's looked like the player who was fantastic in his first few months here.

Important we get something from Swansea next weekend and keep building now.
