Nobody watching the semifinal? I got the game on my iphone so I can watch while I work but I can't pay much attention unfortunately. Very nervous game so far. 0-0 in extra time.

I had it on earlier but I couldn't stand Keown's voice and footy on mute isn't quite the same...

Great shoot out. Congrats to Spain for reaching another final. Italy deserved better, they played great on the first half, and dominated the best team in the world.
Brazil will beat a really tired Spain on Sunday.

Same here, Uruguay yesterday and Italy today...Im not a happy man this week

Spain are going to be shattered on Sunday, going for a Brazil win.

Honestly I can't see brazil beating Spain.  Spain know how to preserve energy and brazil will not defend as well as Italy.

Unbelievable pens. I was rooting for Italy, I love them, the way the commentators spoke about them you'd think they were some no mark team that had arrived to make up the numbers!

Think they have an excellent chance next year at the world cup and I'd love to see them win it again.

Brazil vs Spain should be a great game, I hope Brazil can win it, but I can't call it to be honest, going to just sit back and enjoy what should be a cracking game.

Hope the England team were watching, that is how you take penalties! The keepers didn't come close to saving any of them! The closest to being saved was Aquilani's but even that was still right into the corner.

One thing I forgot to mention about the semi between Brazil and Uruguay was Cavani's performance. His work rate is immense, sometimes it's hard to believe he's actually a forward. In one particular moment he tracked Marcelo back and made a perfectly timed tackle inside the box, a very dangerous position. He also scored the goal and, in the few times Uruguay controlled possession, he was one of their best. Very impressed.

Gianluigi Buffon saved three penalties as Italy beat Uruguay to claim third place in the Confederations Cup.

Only sore the last 20 miins of extra time and the pens. Not that impressed with Uruguay's front 3 in those 20 minutes.
All the missed pens were shocking shots.

Knew Forlan had missed before he stepped up. Over thought it and bottled it with his miss against Spain no doubt spinning through his mind.

Did find it odd though, the rather large celebrations that were taking place by the Italians at having beaten Uruguay on pens to finish 3rd in the Confederations Cup.
