 Looks a fairly weak team, obviously with the big guns in reserve.

I think they're capable of doing the job but the front 3 need to be ruthless in front of goal.

Obvious plan B is stick on the big boys and hope for the best.

Cole? Jesus Brendan what do you see in him!? Feel sorry for Downing, whenever he gets field time half the time he gets shoved at left back. Yet cole gets to play in one of his main positions which he is still sh*t at.

Hmm, not a fan of the line up. Would much rather have seen us start the big guns and take them off when the game has been won.

Downing at left back is a good choice though, will offer us natural width when Assaidi looks to cut in.

Cole and Downing are such a waste of air it's untrue. Guys like Morgan, Pacheco and Yesil might not be experience but at least they'll try.

I think we have enough talent in the team to win against the Swiss team. We need to be ruthless in front of the goal. I like the choice of leaving big guns on the bench, if we need them they will be playing against a weaker team and they will be tired.

 

Sometimes these sides actually perform well I feel strangely positive.

Between the starting XI and the bench, we surely have enough to win this game, but I agree with everyone saying we're approaching this the wrong way round.

Anyway, just hope we can get the win, as with the busy run in to Xmas, having a no-pressure trip in Europe would effectively give us a week's rest.

To be honest though so far Morgan hasn't really done much when he has been given the opportunity apart from his work ethic. Struggled in front of goal which is what a striker is supposed to do i guess? Downing has played well in the Europa league in his normal position, don't see the point in playing him left back when we have one of the bench though...

You just know that all the cole baiting (of which I'm also guilty) it's a certainty he'll grab one tonight.
