      Seriously ?

Unsighted and with a deflection ?

Right above his head and i didnt see any deflection. Poor. Should never have got to that anyway. Poor defending and no closing down. Just not good enough!

this is the problem when you dont start with a team to win the game and then add players to it as the night goes on.

Got to take the big guns to Italy now, even with a full squad it will be difficult.

      Very disappointed.

Not F***ing good enough. Even if we go through now, we'll have a very tough game against Udinese away and will have to take a strong team meaning there's a good chance we'll drop points in the following league games. Some of the players need to take this competition more seriously.

      Not happy one bit.

Twice taken the lead, and lost twice with poor defending.

What happened to keepball for the last 10 mins?

      Gutted.

Although in a way it's good to see us trying to attack until the end.

whats wrong with starting with your strongest 11 get a few goals off and then take players off. The three subs didnt make too much of an impression did they.

Thats down to the manager. 2 understrength teams he has put out a home in this competition. Whatever happens in Italy if we go out it will be down to what happened tonight and against Udinese!

We did not give that game the care and attention it needed tonight and got what we deserved sadly!

      Very disappointed!

Only ourselves to blame. 2-1 up with a minute to go, we need to know how to close out a game.

      Gutted.

Unbelievable frustration when their second goal went in. Not felt that angry for a long time over a goal. Sorry, but Reina has got to save those. As hard as it was, it went straight through his hands.

All that hard work for nothing  So stupid, so silly at the end.

So much for giving the big guns a night off

I've said all along, our problem is not scoring goals - it's our defence and inability to keep clean sheets

Really cheesed off with that one

      Goodnight :f_steam:

Not good enough lads, finish your chances and there were plenty of them or defend the lead stronger, gave them far too many chances all night. Not happy we couldn't do the job, makes things so much more difficult. Gerrard looked extremely leggy that entire half, not singling him out, the team as a whole didn't do enough.
