Dortmund Fans Sabotage the Allianz

German football fans perpetrated a plucky midnight raid on the stadium of arch-rivals Bayern Munich.
A group of Borussia Dortmund fans broke into the iconic stadium - acknowledged as one of the finest sporting venues in the world - and plastered their own club's logo on the walls of a VIP suite.
Then, they pulled off a masterstroke of both guts, ingenuity and technical knowhow as they switched the stadium's famous external lighting from red - as it is for Bayern matches - to Dortmund's famous yellow.

The stadium is famous for its colour-changing lights, being lit in red when Bayern are playing, blue when in use by fellow ground-sharers 1860 Munich, and white when the national team take to the turf. It's even been lit up in multi-coloured livery for the Champions League final in the past.

Never before, however, has the state-of-the-art lighting system been used to turn it yellow - and we've got a feeling that with increased security now certain, it never will be again.

There was a huge cheer when it ended, it was pretty powerful stuff and very well done, the commentator on ESPN was saying it had gone very quiet.

Brilliant. Love there fans, met up with a few who came to our Udinese game after BVB played City this season. So passionate about there club and they absolutely hate Munich. Can you see the resemblance.

Would disagree actually. They're typically slow-starters in the league and then get into a great run of form. They've looked awesome in the Champions League and I can see them in the semi-finals with how they've played.

Think Dortmund are very good outside bets for the CL !

Totally agree with you George, been impressed with all the German sides to be honest. Reus absolute class, you're bang on there too, was gutted when someone on here informed me he'd already moved to Dortmund, real quality in Germany at the moment and can only see them getting stronger.

That is a very good price.

Imagine Reus in a three with Sterling and Suarez ? Or even Goetze or Lewandowski !! Either of the three would make a massive difference

It's why I wish Schurrle was our number one target - a player in the mould of Reus and will be a Worldie

Dortmund are my German team. I love the atmosphere in their stadium, it gets f**king rocking in there with 80000 fans bouncing.

Agree mate, if I was to pick a German team, it would be Dortmund. Everything about the club, I can relate to. Their fans are outstanding as well. To add to that, Dortmund is also the venue for one of the clubs most famous victories, back in 2001.
