Pissed. Absolute sh*t start by us and we left the comeback too late. We looked alive once they scored the second. Have to say, I think Brendan got that starting XI wrong tonight. Henderson and Downing did nothing and both share responsibility for the two goals. Bullshit.

I've never seen a more inefficient injury time than what we just produced. Lost the all every f*cking time in those final moments.

Not good enough, simple as that. Yes we had our chances but you can't give your opponent a 2 - 0 lead the way we did. Shocking performances by Henderson, Gerrard, Downing and Allen, put them in any order you like.

Thought Raheem looked a little out of his depth tonight too but he's gonna have those games, surprised he wasn't subbed. Enrique was first class again, really finding his feet in that role and looks made for it to be honest. Luis should of scored a couple but just for sheer effort and determination deserves massive credit and we were robbed a clear penalty, why does that not surprise anyone.

Going to be hard to look at the table now with any optimism at all.

Had a bad feeling about this game and the next one for a while.

I'd happily take points over allegedly playing well right now.

Finished the game with 9 men last season, started the game with 9 men this time.  At least the scoreline was a bit closer!

Rodgers deserves to come under a bit of flak with team selection in this one.  Would happily let Downing and Henderson leave on frees and never see them in a Liverpool shirt again.

And Gerrard should count himself lucky if he had a spot on the bench next game.
