Think the reds are improving now just one loss in nine games. Good teams find a way to win i dont care if its 1-0,shows the defence was doing its job. Now if we can win at west ham then we can move up the table and farther away from regulation.

Have only seen very brief highlights, but certainly close call at the end.  I do think the squad as a whole is getting better, and the experience of playing in this comp can only be good for player development.

There are 2 rounds before the quarters. As predicted, it was a very tough group. But we're through, now we can focus on knockout cup football. As group winners, we have the second leg of the next round at home.

We can't get an English team until the quarter finals. Don't want an English team anyway. We play them enough in the league.

Good result last night whilst the performance was a little disjointed they got the job done, well in boys and Brendan Rodgers.

Shelvey was key for me, Udinese looked the better team until Sahin went off and Shelvey came on.

Dint see the game, just read thru the thread and i guess we did okay.

Nice to see Hendo on the scoresheet, the lad has a few goals in him, just needs to be confident and take the chances when they come, him and Shelvey need to improve on their finishing and they would be very good players.

Anyway, I kind of enjoyed the game but I was incensed that the butchering bas**rds didn't have men sent off sooner. That c**t pasquale was try to do players from behind all match, raking his studs down the back of players calfs and trying to get a knee into the side of our players knee joints. In other words, trying to take them out.
