F**k ME! that was too close I saw goal all over that when he struck it, thank god!

Overall I wasn't that impressed with the performance, far too weak in the centre of the pitch. Allen, Henderson and Sahin/Shelvey isn't good enough which we all knew but we won 1 - 0 away in Italy never something to be sniffed at and we've managed to get through what many thought might be a step too far.

Well done lads, should of been easier but we're through and that's all that matters at the end of the day, delighted!

Plus Suarez gets a rest, he looks like he needs one to me so it could be a blessing.

Great display by the lads there!! We've not got the greatest record in Italy so to win 1-0 and top the group and never really be out of control of the game was important. Apart from that Di Natale shot at the end they never really had a sniff.

Anyone else think of the Kenny Miller effort in the League Cup final last year with that Di Natale shot??

Yeah! Di Natalie's surprisingly very old, but he doesn't play like it. But in Italy you can be a bit older and be ok because the pace isn't as frantic as England.

Surprised to see Henderson leading the MotM poll, thought our full-backs were outstanding the entire game. Johnson out of position once but besides that were near faultless which is much more than can be said for Hendo, amazing what a goal does for you it seems.
