Great move for him if it goes through. Derby play some great stuff.

I'm definitely glad he is going to Derby rather than Bolton. He went through a relegation battle with Birmingham last season, he doesn't need to go through that sh*t again :D

I'd too prefer this deal than the Bolton one. Derby play decent football and will be in the mix come May.

      Great move

He can fill Will Hughes in on the spots to go on nights off in Liverpool!

It's shamed Southampton not interest in loaning him, I trusted them most in developing players :D
(and no wonder if we go there again for Schneiderlin and Clyne ;D

      Good luck at Derby, Jordon.

Just come on to post about that. Great to see him get on the score sheet. Looking forward to watch the Championship highlights tonight to see his performance. Not watched it for the past couple of weeks so not aware of what progress he is making.

Watched him when he came on in the Forest game last weekend and I wasn't impressed mate.  Didn't do enough to get into the game and just wandered back when an attack broke down.

I put it down to early days and still finding his feet but he needs to do much more if he's going to make an impression.

A few of my work colleagues here at Toyota in Derby are season ticket holders and are praising him highly.

Clearly with age and playing experience he's developing his football intelligence. A few Blue noses here would say that he used to infuriate the fans last year with his running into cul-de-sacs or just wasting the ball or opportunities altogether. All of which I'm sure was forgiven seeing as he had a major say in the Blue noses staying in the Championship.

Scored the opener for Derby after 7 minutes.  They're beating Huddersfield 2-1 with Coady and Jack Robinson playing for Huddlesfield.

I know he's really young but I wanted him to be here this season, not farmed out for experience or whatever, feels similar to my feelings about loaning out Teixeira.

Same. Looked very good in pre season but Markovic was bought :( With Teixeira, I think it was better to loan him out as we have, Sterling, Lallana & Coutinho, all capable of playing #10

I was going to say how about we didn't buy Lallana and used someone here already- Teixeira but Lallana is a gifted player.

      Bring him back in January.

Front 3 of Sterling - Sturridge - Ibe.

would be a thousand times better than what we've got now.

Why the F**k did we let him go on loan in the first place? Markovic or Ibe? Hmmm that's a tough one :(

If you read through Derby forums, Ibe is invisible for most of the matches and then comes up with a worldie. I believe Portuguese league is much better than Championship and Markovic will do well there too. I am confident that Markovic will come good once he settles.

Jordon is doing just fine where he is.  He's playing every week but without being a guarenteed starter, he's getting experience of being part of a team challenging for a title and he's scoring goals.

There is little to no pressure, he's playing in a confident team that are flying high and is being allowed to develop out of the spotlight.

If he was here, with the way things are, he'd be struggling to even make the bench, would be playing one game a month in the u21's and gaining nothing in terms of helping him make the eventual step up to 1st team football.

Even Raheem, with all his talent and experience is struggling to make an impact this season, no way we'd be better off with Ibe in the squad.

This is typical of young players mate, they may have the talent but they struggle with consistancy.  Until Jordan is performing regularly, at a consistantly high level, he will never become the truly great player we know he can be.
