I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is. Suso was rested immediately after signing his new contract.

Just reinforces that there's a difference between arriving and booking yourself in for a long stay and in my opinion will do the kid no harm at all.

Surprised there hasn't been more activity in this thread to be honest. Liking the look of the team other than Downing starting. Glad to see Suso starting and good on Rodgers for resting Allen because he is in desperate need of one.

Good to see Enrique back, and Suso given a chance again.

Can't wait for this to start, hope we see a positive reaction to last week's awful result.

This is a game for Shelvey and Suso, they are the future and i hope they both step up today.
Shelveys completely suited to the English game just needs to convert more and start turning heads, he can cover a lot of ground and reminds me of a young Gerrard so much. Stevie was 20 when started cementing his place in the side. Suso needs to show he can be the next Silva/Mata to come out of Spain, we've seen it in the reserves and hes had some sparkles this season but i really want to see him grab the game by the scruff of the neck and start dictating the play (will be hard to do on the flank).

Don't like seeing Downing in the starting XI, and I don't really like that midfield 3. Gerrard and Shelvey are too similar for my liking. It has to be one or the other for me.
