Buttons have no place on a jersey.

It looks like a buttoned down collar which would be very odd for a football shirt.

Is this a hint to stop Alco trying to bring Cantona back?

Love the potential look of our one, always loved v-necks. Like the subtle white on it, too.

Don't United have a new sponsor from next season?

True... unless you've got kids of course.

I'll be waiting for the end of season sales again.
Got the young lad a tracksuit and full kit for €20 last season.
Will be hoping for similar this season.

As you said, nobody forces us to buy kits...

Slur Alco to rest RVP for the whole of 2013-14 season after seeing the new strip...

Apparently Cantona was consulted about the design, could be bullshit though?

The Chevrolet deal begins in 2014 so this will be the last season with AON.

It's the little things that help.

My lad's about to go from full kit to jersey only pretty soon so not sure what to get.

I know what you mean mate - that was £18.99 top, £7.99 shorts and £2.99 socks both sets - wee man delighted but you wonder about the precedents you're setting...

No one is forcing you to buy a new kit every year. I think it's smart by the club to add some variety.

Wait until you have a few kids and want to buy them all a shirt, becomes a different story then, not that I have any but have seen it with other people. Clubs are too quick to change their shirts these days, especially when documentaries have shown it only costs about a £5 to make them and then they retail between £40 and £50. It all gets a bit too much for some parents.

I have two kids. Youngest (7) wanted a Liverpool shirt this year, unfortunately hard decisions had to be made and he will have to wait till next year or till the sales hit for this year's gear ;D

Like I said above FL it is tricky - especially once you've established the precedent. For example you could pick up the Adidas kit for b#gger all (relatively) start of last season. But full price full Warrior kit would have been c.£90 a few months later.

I've been on the treadmill for a few years now (and I've two boys) and there's no doubt it's a big expense.

Not easy to say "not this year, son..." and even harder to say Santa can't afford it either...

Fair play to you but the chances are his schoolmates won't mock him for having an out of date strip.  ;)

And even worse when Santa knows that the effing thing will be old hat in five months and the cycle begins again.  >:D

I must be getting old as it took me a while to figure out what you were getting at.

I hope he isn't coming back in any manner. Can't stand him.

Sadly since we live in the states, his friends wouldn't know a "soccer" kit if it hit them in the face, much less whether the LFC strip is current or not :(

To be fair, I'm just glad he's already taking an interest in the Reds...he'll be a tried and true supporter by the time he reaches my age. :)

      Ours looks very nice.

Barca's looks F***ing horrible and cheap. Might just be how the photo is taken, though. Away kit is dire.

      Arsenal away:

      Celtic home:

      Spain Confederations Cup:

      Randers FC home:

Manufactured by Warrior. So could be a template used on one of our kits this year

I hope that Warrior template isn't used.

The logo is in the middle (reminds me of adidas) AND there's one on the sleeve. Unacceptable.

Just like every time they have a collar on the shirt, Cuntandahalf must be consulted!! A more cynical person would say it's PR sh*te from utd/Nike, but not me!!
