Better option (has more ability) than Borini/Jay/Bony. Year loan would be good, not sure I'd want to buy until can see how he gets on.

Wasnt keen on this originally but Ill bite teh bullet. I could live with his tw*tness if he gave us the sublime goals hes capable off. We just will not challenge with Sturridge/Lambert as the only out and out strikers in the team. Cant try and pass Raheem or Markovic off as ones because they arent. To go on all 4 fronts we need another top striker and Id take Etoo as well

He hasn't set the leagues his been in alight either. 17m is fair imo, we'd be investing into the potential player Rodgers could get out of him more so than the week in week out Balotelli who plays for AC Milan.

Bit contradicting that. Surely Milan will need a sale to fund Cerci as he won't be cheap? Don't think a loan fee would cover it.

Prob 60 up front (or as up front as anything is these days) and the rest in add-ons which we will say are basically guaranteed and they will say might not happen so can't be considered part of the price

I think we get a bit hung up on prices, wages etc. as fans - are the city fans concerned? I trust the board etc. not to put our club into financial difficulty so if that means we can afford 40m Falcao with 200k wages then tbh I'm not going to say that's too expensive, do we really want him at that price.

We should just want the best possible players here and let the money men worry about the rest :-)

In two minds.

On the one hand, on his day he is pretty much unstoppable.
On the other hand, he doesn't have those days often enough (for whatever reason).

Rodgers & Peters are the ideal duo to sort our Mario' s pickled noodle but in all honesty I would not change Mario.
