what about the torres rumours? In the star and express so hardly gospel, but i feel it could be a good move for us, and him.
With stevie & coutinho putting those balls for him to run on to, could potentially do a job for us again.

They are the ones who are going to benefit the most from FFP. With their revenue and stadium capacity, they could easily spend 100m+ each year with out any problem. Much like Bayern in Germany.

I don't think that's necessarily true.  They said the same thing about Coutinho in 2013 and we got him anyway. 

If Cech is going to move permanently in the summer then a loan deal in January is surely on the cards.  If we want him, and he wants to leave, there's no way he will say "no, I'd rather sit the bench than be a starter at Liverpool."

Pros: Extremely good reflexes, agile, good penalty saver, kicking seems decent, quick off his line, great shot stopper

Cons: Sometimes prefers to do a highlight reel style save when a catch would suffice, can sometimes get lost when tracking the ball in the air, sometimes parries the ball into rather than out of harms way, questionable communication (couldn't really tell), not sure about his English.

He may only be 22 but he's in his 4th season as a first choice keeper (3rd in Serie A).

We're gonna end up with another sub-standard keeper and then we go shopping in the summer again. Mark my words.
