I personally wouldn't get rid of Lucas or Klavan. Both good cover to have.

It's not so much that I would want them to go but part of me thinks they will do, Lucas especially. He doesn't want to be a bit part player and feels he still has a lot to offer as a starter, he'll move elsewhere IMO.

I guess Klavan staying or going depends on how Klopp feels about how ready Gomez is.

Dreaming is cool but you eventually have to wake up.. big stars and proven talent won't come here just because you dream about them.
And I didn't say anything about accepting mediocrity..I was just pointing out the fact that he wants Liverpool to sign proven stars but fails to mention one name that would come here.

I'm 6'-3" and 220 lbs -- in the football world I  would qualify as a "big" player, and I'd take a measly 10k per week!!

Trying to come up with transfers we would have a reasonable chance of getting:

In: GK -Begovic; CB - Kara Mboji; LB - Kieran Tierney; winger ( cover for Mane) -  Shaqiri; striker - Lacazette/Nolito

Out: Karius ( maybe on loan); Sakho ( don't want him to go, but seems inevitable); Moreno ( enough said); Markovic; Sturridge

The above seems realistic to me. One problem is I don't know who will even come close to matching our wages for Sturridge. Will he go if he is offered a heavily weighted pay-as-you-play deal? If he doesn't go, will FSG shell out for a replacement with him still on the books? They f**king better, cos you can't win titles without a prolific striker, and we ain't got one.

Anyway, I think the above would leave us with a good squad. All we need then is to sort out how to defend set pieces.

I think that's a title winning squad/team. I'm curious, what 4-5 players should we sign for you to believe we can win the title?

I'll happily take Lacazette, Van Dijk, Brandt, Keita & possibly Sessegnon. What we're not going to do is go out and buy the likes of Griezmann etc.
