Do any of u think an Andy Robertson move makes us better or would u rather ride it out with Milner at LB? I have been hearing Klopp really like h so I was wondering your thoughts on a player like him in the all important transfer window.

I said - this time last year - I thought he was a very talented footballer and would be a decent signing. I may be biased as a proud Scot.....but I never let that get in the way of the redmen.

Quick, skillful with good positional sense and tenacious - there's a lot to like about the kid and he'd be infinitely more comfortable there than Milner. My own preference - as stated is Kieran Tierney at Celtic but that looks like a non-starter.

Scotland just happen to be very fortunate in having two very fine young left backs at present - it says something that Strachan felt he wanted to accomodate both against England recently.

Who are ya REALISTIC striker targets that u think we can sign?

James Pearce has said yesterday that he believes for strikers its Mbappe or no one - unless sturridge decides he wants to leave.

Says no substance to links to auba or lacazette etc.

Him being am actual LB makes us better.

He's a good player from what I've seen of him.

Certainly would mate, it would also be a reason for some to reassess their opinion of the owners.

And par for the course we'll not sign any one in that window

I think we have a set budget and Klopp wants to use it to land absolute top quality. Since Keita and VVD are expected to be extremely expensive and may wipe out our budget with Salah already in. So we might have to settle for lesser quality in other areas of the pitch like LB which Klopp may not regard as that important. Of course, this is just me thinking out loud.

That's a reasonable assumption, I suppose LB is not the most pressing of positions that need sorting out, although we still need cover for Jimmy as much of a machine he is it is ridiculous to expect him to play every game.

I am sure we will get someone, just that it won't be Mendy or Sandro. We might have to make do with Robertson or someone of the same level.

Sad times but, this comment made me giggle like a 3 year old boy.

That Joe.co.uk article has even less sourcing than normal.

I want the Keita story to be true and for him to be a Liverpool  player. If we only signed one more player, it should be him. While we still need upgrading and depth at other positions, getting only him from here on would be OK.

It's over a month before our first competitive match and I keep telling myself to be cool, to think about something less nerve-wracking for me, like Middle East peace or something, but I fail miserably at this.

Should be an interesting July, but, who really knows?

Don't agree there mate - clearly I rate Robertson higher than you do mate - but regardless of that - a proper left-back would give us a lot of balance we didn't have last season.

I don't think there is going to be a left back come in this season. Think it's another year of Milner ahead.

Certainly not my preference, and personally I wouldn't have Clyne as a starting full back either.
