Well assuming both players VVD and Keita were waiting for CL confirmation then FSG better start spending and doing it properly.

No scaling payments of £25m up front and all that sh*t pay the fee in full and get things done.

true but in all honesty if that is his normal level, goalkeeper Baumann , then why are we not all over that? He would be a huge upgrade on anyone we currently have, surely £40 million would be enough to prise him away from Hoffenheim and any of those Hoffenheim players would surely jump at the chance of playing for LFC, especially after witnessing the atmosphere and performance from the team last night.

Don't think Keita has a chance of happening this summer, though I'd love to be proved wrong come the 1st.

VVD is a much more likely prospect and out of the two the one we need most.

That said I actually think the likeliest scenario is that we sign no one and don't sell Coutinho.

Yep, we might as well put out a statement that we are closing up shop for the summer. I wish the window closed today so at least that last little bit of hope I had of strengthening would finally be destroyed and put away and I could just focus on the reality of praying for no injuries all season.
