Yeah, to be fair, the point of my post was that it was reportedly 2 top players. Either way, don’t think it will happen.

Just a quick note about the goalkeeper situation, down here in Stoke on Trent, word on the street is that Jack Butland is desperate to avoid a relegation battle and potential championship football next year. His agent is touting him for a move. I'd take him right now. Sell migs and have Ward as backup.

Make part of the deal, £75m for Coutinho and chuck in Luis to take it up to £140m, but not until summer cos of CL, I'd be very happy with that deal, who wouldn't be ffs, F**k it, lets get this on 😃

Concerning Coutinho, I don't think that we need to replace him, that is, find a plyer who plays in a similar position. We have Lallana, and when fit he is as good as anyone. Watching Firmino yesterday, I told myself that Firmino would be a really really great no. 10... He never loses the ball, dribbles with so much ease, can shoot and score and is creative.

Maybe we should invest in another good no.9 who can play like Firmino for us, or another goal-scoring midfielder like Mane or Salah (wingers who can play as striker with a lot of pace).

Mahrez seems to be a good idea. With Mane, Salah, Keita, Mahrez, we have 4 of the very best players of Africa.

I'd be happy to bring in now a top, top GK and Mahrez. 

With VVD already on board I would rate that as a good window especially for January.

Same here. If Coutinho didn’t get his way he’d have only have faked more injuries and missed more games so it’s not like we will be missing anything. Saw a stat that since 2015, Mahrez actually has more goals and assists than Coutinho too.

Strengthen our weakest area would be a massive bonus.
