I have not seen anything to suggest Solanke can make the step up for us, but a loan move and them evaluate.

Right now for his age there are better players out there than the Ox that are young if not younger.

While true, Ox has played so well in addition to his work rate that to me he's a starter next season, assuming he recovers fully. His energy, pace, power, directness and not afraid of shooting make him a great fit for our midfield. Klopp also seems to think very highly of him and i'd be very surprised if we buy someone to take his spot.

If we find someone better and we can buy him, then I have no doubt we will, I find it inconceivable to say that we won't.
Why would we not...?? It is all about improving the team, and to simple not buy a player that will do just that because you have a player that is doing well in that position... What that all about

You can ask FL....the kid is the real deal, i have little doubt down the road he will be looked at as the best player ever to come out of the states....not that the list is long or impressive but he is what we would call over here a blue chip player.

It's so obvious how well he would fit in at the club it's scary.

I'm not sure, I don't watch much of French football and when I do, it's normally PSG... but I have Brazilian friends who think he should be in the national team for the World Cup. He seems to have a great shot from distance, scored some belters throughout the season. I think he usually plays in Salah's position, left footed forward cutting inside from the right, and well, I don't think anyone takes Salah's place in the team and would probably be expensive backup. But sure does look like a very promising player

Lucas Paquetá is being linked to Juventus. He's one of the most incredible natural talents I have seen in a while. He plays for the same club that has sold Vinicius Junior to Real Madrid, and yet for me he looks a far better player at just 20 years of age. He could play for the national team in my (surely not unbiased) opinion. I'd hate to see him play for Juve, he's too good for them.
