Concerning Harry Wilson I think Harry just never got a real opportunity to show his talent with us...and probably never will because Shaq will block him for the next 2-3 years and Wilson might have to escape.

I don't even think we'll spend any at all, even if Fekir was half price on boxing day we'd pass up on it.

I don’t expect us to sign anyone.

If I could choose - guaranteeing fitness, money no object - it’d be Fekir, Dembele and a left back to push Robbo.

Pulisic was a key player for Dortmund the last couple of seasons. Maybe not as much this season I’ll give you. That’s not really debatable. Merry Christmas.

The reason he isn’t this season is probably because everybody knows he wants to go now so Dortmund are building a team that doesn’t need him anymore. If he had committed himself to the club then I have no doubts he’d have been as important as ever and played a lot more than he has.

The only thing I can see is a loan for a.center back, and it would have to be from a top European league and some circumstance where the owning team would let him go for the rest of the season. This would strictly be as cover due to injuries, depending on recovery time for Joe and Joel.

Do agree that perhaps we need another centre back though.
Personally I think our team is ticking along just perfectly and I would be reluctant to bring in any huge name / cost player that could unsteady the ship. Know that Jürgen and his team are excellent in this area...about fully evaluating a player and his potential impact in and off the field.
Suppose it’s just my negativity and memories over the past in regard to a few signings that really haven’t helped our cause.

any player coming in will have to be of sufficient quality to oust a current first choice player otherwise what is the point we have an academy  full of young players who should be given a chance over any one but a top quality player

Agreed. For an unknown reason Sturridge is not playing more while Firmino is under-performing and I remember how horrible it was during the CL final to rely on Lallana and a poor Firmino to save us.

More of a playmaker than an attacker, someone with same quality of Eriksen, Coutinho, etc...

I think the way we play right now and our position in the league will prevent Jürgen to go out on the market in January. The team is clicking so why risk it with some new dude that could disrupt the chemistry?

Na, it's just the way he was whipping in those brilliant crosses that made me think of the possibility.

Really hope Klopp is tricking us all into believing he's not looking at new transfers in because i think we are too thin up front. A 4-6 week injury to one of the front 3 the way we've had to Gomez / Matip and i think it really hinders us, particularly on the left as we've seen that the options used by Klopp on that side (Keita, Lallana) are not really suited for that position. That's why i'd love to get Pulisic in here. He's good and versatile and would provide both cover to multiple positions and be a challenge for Mane.

With such a clear chance at the title we need to go all in and make sure we have enough depth up front.

Don’t think it’s Klopp's way to do business at the halfway stage, (with the exception to VVD). However, saying that; I would not pass up an available player that we’ve been scouting.

The way Mane has been playing, I don’t think it would take much for Pulisic to soon take his place if he were to arrive.
