21 goals & 11 assists in 36 games is "finished" is it?

In a league with almost no competition and Messi handing goals on a plate for him every game.

I guarantee he would struggle in the PL now as his pace is gone.

Oi, why bring his nationality into it!

Cos we've had plenty of dodgy norwegians thanks! Kvarme and Leonhardsen still give me nightmares.

What a ridiculous shout, of course he's playing in a league with competition. He wouldn't have finished second if there wasn't any competition. We were knocked out of Europe by a team from that league, another team from that league has just won the Europa, La Liga isn't some sort of third rate competition

He'd be a better back up striker than Origi to be fair. And the fume from rest of the league would be funny.

You would do that for a 33 year old who wouldn't get near our starting 11?

;D, Suarez would be pushing all our front three for a starting spot, don't think otherwise. If he's availabel get him, we'd become invincible!

Kvarme yes he never recovered from his Karius moment in that Man Utd game, but what's your issue with Leonhardsen, didn't he work harder than any other midfielder, cover more distance etc plus I seem to recall he was a pretty good member of the team/squad. Anyway how about Bjornebye and Riise, key players? I'm also still upset about Vegard Heggem, if not for his career ending injuries he would have been one of the greats, I'm sure of it.

That's it. With Suarez it wouldn't be rotation for rotations sake, we'd have a genuine, top alternative to the front 3. Don't want to slag Origi off because he's done some incredible things at the club but a lot of the time (certainly recently) he's brought off the bench more in hope than expectation. I'm sure the front 3 would be kept on their toes a lot more too with somebody like Suarez available to step in

Divock has done more for the history of this club than Suarez ever did

      Personally I'd rather develop Brewster

Suarez's pace has gone, he wouldnt take to not being first choice which he wouldnt be
Think he will end up back at Ajax, he always talked about finishing his career there and talked them up more than us

They'd be welcome to him for me

Over 5 - 10 yards it absolutely was

And with our current set up, in this league you cant play without it in the final 3rd

His pace has gone, when did he ever have pace? He’s never been blessed with pace, his game has always been about his technical ability. Which going by his goal vs Bayern, he still has plenty of.

Bobby himself isn’t particularly blessed with pace either, but it goes unnoticed because of his technical ability that he uses just as effectively as someone who relies on pace.

We utilise pace in the wide areas, not through the middle.

100% agree, just imagine an attacking trio of Mane, Suarez and Salah for the final 15 minutes of a match, holy sh*t, as a defender you'd be fu**ed!!!

Agree I'd rather look to the future developing Rhian than hark back to the past with Suarez.

Why not do both? The most important thing is team success isn't it?

      And unity, harmony

Suarez would not be happy with 4th/5th option

Hed rather go back to Ajax and be 1st choice again

      It wouldnt end well

Why stagnate Brewster's development in favour of a soon to be 34 year old striker on a huge salary?

erm because I want the team to win rather than further one player's career. Brewster would still plenty of chances, but you don't reject a signing just to help one player, that's stupid.

Why we not winning anything as it is?

We don't need a Suarez well past his prime when we have exciting talent like Brewster waiting in the wings.

Suarez "past his prime" is still better than Brewster at the moment and he's certainly better than the misfiring Salah of the last few months

      At the moment?

You're having a go at Salah in preseason? A man who's been integral in us winning the league and CL? To a disloyal lad who's now well past his best?

      Sound that
