Why is it a head scratcher? Let's be honest, we overrate our own youth sometimes. Don't think he's up to the quality we are looking for and he basically pays for 2 years of Thiago. Good deal for me.

Just because you think a player is promising doesn't mean he's got what it takes to make it here. If Klopp wants to keep Hoever, or anyone, Edwards is not going to take that player from under him.

And 10M for an unproven player like Hoever is actually a very good price.

Yeah thats reality. We see him as a potential very good player, but how many games will he play in the next 3 years..as I said in another topic, I hope any deal gives us first option on his next move

I've mentioned Sarr as a possibly signing before but would prefer Jota - more experienced and consistent.

Like Jota a lot, very quick, very tricky and a tenacious player as well. Things really picking up now, unusual for Klopp to do deals so late in the window but maybe it’s to do with deals going out the way.
