We obviously need cover for CB in January and in my opinion put the money up for Per Schuurs from Ajax. We're probably talking 30 million+ but working with Klopp and his staff will end up a top quality centre half.

On another note and perhaps not as essential but I would try take Dele Alli from Spurs. Mourinho doesn't fancy him but I believe there is a player there. Could play a No 8 really well. With the right coaching get him back to where he was a couple of years ago. Just thinking out loud here.....

We will only sign a CB in January, if even that, hopefully Schuurs, and I was impressed with the Leipzig CB Konate too.

Dele Alli will never play for us under Jürgen, yes he's talented, but has neither the attitude or the work rate required to play at this club.

I'm in on Schuurs. I think it's important to get a CB so that Fabinho can move back to DM. He was intended to be the 4th option in CB, not one of the regular starters, so i would like to see someone come in who can partner with Matip. However, even if we got Schuurs (or anyone else), it may still mean Fab stays as the starter near term since it will take time for the new player to get used to our system. With us playing a high line, it will be important to be fully aligned because it can create us a boat load of problems otherwise.

I'm down with Dele. Jürgen would make him unstoppable. If Ox can't stay healthy, Alli would be a nice replacement.

Dele is one of them that should have kicked on and become one of the world's best (still young enough to become a very good player though) but it's all just fallen apart. The fact that Mourinho's arrival didn't kick his arse into gear and he's now fallen out of favour should set alarm bells ringing.

Sign Ryan Gravenberg in Jan from Ajax, leave him there until the summer. Especially if Gini is going.
