But City paid £60 million for Rodri and I think Rice is as good if not better so that's the ball park price we would need to pay.

Not saying Rice is not a good player, he is  but there is as good or better available for less. We  cant throw money around like City and we cant do it on an area not priority. Defensive midfielder would be behind centre half, striker, right full and attacking mid, for me anyway.

Yes I agree it's not a priority position to strengthen in.

Unless Klopp intends to move Fab to CB permanently next to VVD next season and play Rice DM.

Maybe.  But you could modt likely get Schurrs and Ndidi for less, an out and out centre half and an out and out defensive midfielder, for less then what we would spend on Rice. But look its all just chat lets see what the people in charge go with

I disagree and know there’s better out there for 60m, far better than both Rice and Rodri. The fact he’s played a dozen decent games for a mid table team and is English shouldn’t make him a world class priority signing.
