Newest thing doing the rounds now is that Lautaro Martinez rejected Arsenal because they are not playing CL football and that he would only be open to a PL move in a team playing CL.

Watch the crowds go up in arms now about how FSG are not signing Lautaro because they are cheap. Absolutely no context as to is Lautaro even available, did Arsenal really try to sign him, did he really reject Arsenal? Furthermore, the outrage will take place even tho this dodgy piece of news never even mentioned us. It said he's open for a PL move to a CL qualified team so we are automatically interested and not signing him shows that FSG should F**k off. No regards for the fact that Klopp and our staff don't just become interested overnight because they learnt of the availability of a player and that they usually identify targets based on stats, style, etc and not just ''Oh Lautaro just rejected Arsenal, lets just go and bid a little 50M for him''.

It doesn't matter that the news about Lautaro is probably fake and it matters even less that we were never linked with him by any credible source. Klopp wants him and FSG are outrageous for not finalizing this imaginary deal.

I can understand people wanting new players, if the desperation is a little childish, to say the least, but to keep banging on about no signings when we have actually signed what appears to be a fantastic player is plain idiotic.

I think you'd find most of us on here would like another CM and another forward. I personally think we'll sign both before the end of the window.

The difference is most of us don't piss our pants at every little link that doesn't come true or throw our toys out of the pram when another club is linked with a player.
