Agree, it's most certainly a back-up keeper, really hope it's someone that can push for a starting place though as I do feel Mig is one of our weakest links.

Only saw him in the world cup mate, don't know him other than that. Based on the world cup form he could definitely push Mig aside but no idea if that's his consistent level or that is him playing above himself.

I see, same as me then. Id like our backup to be more demanding in the air and have stronger distribution, because if we brought in someone who is a brilliant shot stopper and ok at the other skills mentioned, it wouldn't really push Mignolet to improve in them areas which is what we need.

Toure won't be leaving now that Agger is gone. Coates may go on loan (doubt it)but Skrtel may be out for a month or more. No way do we go with only 2 CB's of Lovren and Sakho. We need Toure and Coates for cups and cover.

I've seen that in a couple of places too. 32, free agent, no brainer - just depends what kind of wage he's after.

Ill be gutted, I still think he could emerge from the pack to be the preferred partner for Lovren if he sticks around this season I really do. We really could have concede a few this afternoon so I think it would be crazy to let anymore defenders go with the exception of Jonno.

As for others, I still think Lucas will be off, not been in the last two squads and Brendan was a bit evasive when asked about him post match.

Good move for him if it happens to prove people like myself wrong because I dont think he will make it at LFC. He would probably be a class act in the Italian league with its slower pace which would suit him ideally.
