I wonder if Wijnaldum is worth looking into ? Goal scoring midfielder, good footballer and 25.

Nahh he's average too inconsistent.

That's my thinking too. When fit he's a top player but that's not the case as often as he would like and when he's not playing it seems he really struggles to keep the weight off.

No doubting his ability but we can't afford to risk buying any more injury prone players so let other clubs take the gamble.

I have. He's a creative CM with good ball control, a great range of passing, and a good shot on him. He's not an attacking mid....

Doesn't really matter though as he's gone to Arsenal.  But, if you're up for it, I'll bet you a tenner (proceeds donated to the forum) that he is deployed as a CM at Arsenal

Jürgen is used to shopping in the bargain basement at Dortmund and I do wonder if we will see more of the same at LFC? FSG will be jizzing in their pants if that proves to be the case. Here's hoping he can unearth a Hyppia or a Dimitri Payet.

Why are you comparing payers who play in different positions?

Why the hell should we be bargain basement shopping in the first place? We're the 8th richest team in the world, for Christ's sake. Almost 50% richer than Dortmund. We can afford players he could only dream of there. If all we do is go out and buy more 'basement bargains' then it's just further evidence of FSG's lack of ambition.

Can anyone tell me - is the idea of this kid from Leicester who plays left back meant as a project over time, or is he supposed to be our first choice left back next season? I really hope it is the former and not the latter. He is far too inexperienced to slate as a starting player. I agree replacing Moreno in the first XI is a top priority, but surely we are willing to spend some money to get a more experienced player.

I see Koln will allow Germany left back Jonas Hector to talk with clubs. I hope we are looking at someone of that caliber, especially as fullbacks seem to be in Klopp's preferred system.

He'll be back up if we do end up signing him. He's not good enough or ready yet to be a regular starter.

I'm liking how we're having some positive press this summer.

Rumours like the Villa lad being wanted and Cou on PSGs radar put down straight away.

You can only assume the likes of Benteke, Skrtel, Canos, Ibe, Allen etc will go if offers come in as we've not poo hoo'd any of those reports.
