General LFC Transfer rumours/gossip thread

I'm hoping the £100 mil quoted in the papers is exclusive of sales. Van Dijk is expected to cost half of that. No top class attacker comes for less than £45mil these days. Keita is expected to cost around £40mil. If reports are to be believed that we are after Gray and Sessognon, they gonna cost a combined £25mil.

The additional £60mil hopefully will come from the sales of Sakho (£25mil), Moreno (£10mil), Markovic (£10mil) and fringe players like Wisdom, Stewart, Flano, Randall et al

Or simply 'sell' him LFC... in the way BR was/is ridiculed for being unable to, I guess. 🙄

Ridiculed because he was out of his depth as proven. I am sure the exceptional established charismatic manager in Klopp would have gotten us Sanchez, perhaps Kroos too!

I wish tomorrow but unfortunately that's not really likely. The best scenario is that you have them for the start of pre-season but I'm not sure if it will happen this time. It's different with all different players so we will see. That's not a big problem because we all know if they are fit and healthy we have a really strong squad and that means we could start with this squad. But that doesn't mean that I would prefer this, I would love to have them in as soon as possible but we will see.

Our problem was creativity in midfield, but it's fixed when Lallana &/or Coutinho plays there, so I am glad he is not looking into signing a specialist. If Hendo can be fixed with Can and Lucas as back ups, we'll be ok.

Moving Coutinho to the mid-field where he belongs opens up a lot of option in terms of injuries, opponents and away/home....I think if we go and bag Keita there would be no need to worry about picking up any type of specialist as we would have strength and depth.
